Authentic Movement Groups

Authentic Movement is a simple and profound practice rooted in Jungian psychology and Dance/Movement Therapy theory. Individuals are invited to delve into their inner world through spontaneous, improvised movement. With eyes closed, movers follow their bodily sensations and impulses, uncovering deep insights and fostering genuine self-expression and self-care. Supported by a compassionate witness, this practice emphasizes inner listening, embodiment, and the integration of unconscious material through verbal processing after movement. Authentic Movement promotes healing, self-discovery, and artistic expression, offering a profound connection to the body's wisdom and a deeper understanding of oneself.
